My name is Xenia and I am passionate about helping you be the best version of yourself. Making the first step towards therapy takes courage and I am proud of you for getting started!
I am a single mum to 3 teenage girls and one adult son living in the South of England. Having had personal experiences with trauma, grief and neurodiversity I understand how navigating life can be a challenge at the best of times, never mind when it throws you curveballs!
I have a warm, welcoming and flexible approach, making sure that both of us feel comfortable and safe when working together, no matter what challenges you are facing! Treating everyone with respect, sensitivity and compassion lies at the very core of my values and I will tailor our sessions to meet your unique and specific needs, working with you to get you where you want to be by offering you a safe, non-judgmental and fully confidential space.

Therapy here is more than talking
Whether Face to Face, via Video link or over the Phone, I offer effective, individualised care for a number of issues, using a holistic counselling approach incorporating mindfulness techniques, somatic experiencing, Solution Focussed Hypnotherapy as well as play therapy supporting you to become the person you want to be.

I promise to be there for you every step of your journey. My goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life becoming aware of your inner strengths either through counselling or hypnotherapy.

Privacy Policy; Confidentiality Agreement and GDPR
Confidentiality: All hypnotherapy and counselling sessions are confidential. I will not release any information to 3rd parties without written consent from you, except as provided by law.
At times I will discuss patients with other colleagues and my supervisor. In this case names will not be disclosed. Sometimes audio recordings are made during some sessions for training purposes and Focus the Mind counselling and hypnotherapy services holds the copyright of those recordings.
No recording will be made without explicit written consent from the client and any identifying content will be eradicated.
Data Protection (GDPR): All information is kept in a secure place and is locked away in accordance to the Data Protection Act. A full disclosure is available to you if you so wish.
Counselling
I believe in a holistic approach to mental health, addressing not just the symptoms but the underlying issues as well as working with the body as a whole because our emotions, thoughts and experiences are manifesting in the body as well as in the mind.
I use practises like mindfulness, hypnotherapy, somatic work and breath work alongside more traditional theories and techniques, tailoring our sessions to meet your unique needs because not every person needs the same approach and no same issue has the same solution.
